Society of assistance to disabled people in Russia

This site is dedicated to people with different fate: many of them became disabled because of amputations, and some of them are disabled from birth.

Founders and members of our Society – disabled women who want to stay beautiful and cute in spite of their grief – we met in Prosthetic Institute of Saint Petersburg. Our relationships and friendship was also cooperated by people, who united helping to disabled people. Our Society is not big, but it let us communicate to every member and support everybody in difficult time.

24 of May 2002 our Society received an official status of nonprofit organization – Charitable Fund “White Nights”.

One of important objectives of our Society was to attract attention of people, who is ready to provide support and to come to an understanding.

Mission of Society:

- help to disabled people with amputations and other illness.

- assistance in social rehabilitation

- provide welfare for indigents

- assistance in job placement

- acquisition of special equipment for disabled people.

The Fund organizer – Alena Mikhaleva. Our organization will accept with thanks any donations from people who are not indifferent to life of disabled people. We figure on reply of people and organizations from all the world, as Russia undergoes protracted period of political and economical changes that caused pauperization of people and disability of government to provide necessary help to those, who really needs help.

White Nights

White Nights is a symbol of Saint Petersburg, that unites such antithesis as gloom of night and light of a day. This page is dedicated those who would like to break away from gloom: find their luck, create family. Every one of us has own sorrowful story – pain, that will stay for all the rest life. But in spite of this, we are not despair, and hope (with help of our web site) to meet interested people, who is ready to support us in difficult times.

If you was interested in our web site – we will be ready to be acquainted with you. We are organizing interesting meetings. On these meetings you can become acquainted with ladies not only by e-mails, but also personally communicating. We will be glad to see you to enjoy beauty of Saint Petersburg together.
