My name is Nadezhda.

I am 22 years old. I was born in the Leningrad region, where I live with my parents.

After I finished school, I went to college, but I was unable to finish my course. During the last term in college, whilst taking part in a gymnastics lesson, a jump caused damage to my spine, which caused me to lose the use of my legs. That was six years ago and during that time I have had continuous treatment. But my hope to walk again has recede further and further away. I now realise that I must learn to lead a new and different life.

I would like to continue with my education and finish the course to become a beautician. I have put my pictures on this site hoping to find friends, to get support, to talk to others and to find a special, favourite person. I am a happy, cheerful person. I enjoy finding out about new things. I love nature and to go with friends to the city to enjoy shish-kebabs. I like to knit and to do all kinds of needlework.

I find it difficult to answer letters on the internet, as I do not have a computer and I cannot go to the internet cafИ very often. But I should be very glad to receive and answer letters. Please write. Nadezhda
